Community Women Association of Nigeria

One of the programs that Trager came across when she worked for the Ford Foundation was COWAN, Community Women Association of Nigeria. They worked to develop more innovative farming techniques. In general, their goals were to help the rural women of Nigeria create a sustainable way to live and generating income.
