The Parkside Baroque Players gave concerts. The group consisted of, left to right, flutist Frank Suethols (Racine Unified School System), Frances Bedford (UW-Parkside) and cellist Henry Lants (UW-Parkside).
Mandolinest Johnny Young and his Chicago Blues Band appeared at the Student Activities Building in 1972. An article appeared in Newscope on 1972-01-17 about Mr. Young's performance.
The New York-based Your Father's Mustache performed at The End at UW-Parkside in June of 1971. The End was an annual celebration of the end of classes, featuring a brat and burger cookout as well as musical performances.
The Sha Na Na, a popular recording group, gave a performance at Kenosha Bradford High School on February 6th, 1972. The event was sponsored by the UW-Parkside Office of Student Activities.
