In 1972, UW-Parkside held a Capsule College event for hundreds of women in the community. Topics covered included consumerism and the appreciation of arts and music.
Mrs. August Zirbel Jr. (left) and Mrs. Mary Prudom acted as registrars and guides for the Capsule College event at UW-Parkside in 1972. They belonged to the Paris Corners Homemakers Club and the Merrymakers Homemakers Club, respectively.
