-Sweep net transects (collecting terrestrial and aerial invertebrates in open grasslands)
Soil (evaluating soil texture, color and other soil properties)

-Vegetation Survey (assessing the composition of grassland vegetation, including diversity and percent cover)

-Cover board (laying out cover boards for reptile surveys, specifically snakes)

-Malaise Trap (setting up a trap for collecting terrestrial and aerial invertebrates in open grasslands)

Due to social distancing needs, a limited number of students (approx 15) were only able to participate at once and were asked to only spend 30-45minutes painting so other students could participate.
