As the season comes to a close, so too does UW- Park side' s inclu sion i n the Great Lakes V alley Co nferenc e (GL VC ) wh ich imp osed sanctions o n the unive r­ sity 's athle tic depart ment f or v iolatio ns. Part o f these sanctions mandated that UW- Park side w oul d be exclude d fro m al l post-season events and competit ions and conseq uently caused the unive r­ sity to choose to jo in the Grea t Lakes Interc ollegi ate Ath letic Confer ence (G LI AC ) begi nnin g in 2018 .
