Oscarson.
As you can see,
some
of these
people
are filling
multiple
roles
at The
Ranger
News,
and that is simply
amazing!
In the past
week,
a faculty
member
from
the communications
department
even
came
forward
to
express
an interest
in advising
our
organization.
We will be speaking
to professor
Adrienne
Viramontes
next
week
to decide
if she would
be a good
fit for our staff.
Clearly,
we have
made
good
progress
in one of our
first goals
for the fall semester,
increasing
our staff
size.
Despite
this,
there
are still several
open
positions
available
to those
who
are interested.
These
include
reporting,
photography
and design,
three
of the main
components
of
the newspaper.
If
you have
any
interest
in these
areas.
please
come
down
to the Ranger
News
office
at Wyllie
D139C
to pick
up an
application
or attend
our meetings
on Fridays
at noon
in Wyllie
D139C.
I want
to thank
students
for
expressing
an interest
in working
for The
Ranger
News.
We can
always
use the help,
and your
response
over
the past
few weeks
has been
overwhelming.
In fact,
our staff
has nearly
doubled
in
size since
the beginning
of the
semester.
I would
like to thank
a
few people
for stepping
up to
leadership
roles
very
quickly,
and
I'm sure
they
will all do a great
job.
