The grant will be spread over the course of five years WIth $515,888 being donated per year. The grant will be used to pay for junior and senior Uw-Parkside students who are majoring in chemistry, computer science, biological sciences, geosciences and physics programs. In order to be eligible to receive a grant, you must have a GPA greater than Or equal to 3_0, be a full-rime student. and qualify for federal financial aid. Depending on the amount of financial assistance the recipients of the grant need, it can be used for paying full tuition, hvmg on campus, books. an in-room computer for each student and aid mat is needed in order to attend conferences within their discipline. Furthermore. students will be placed in a mentor program with an individual who is currently working in a field they wish to enter.
