Here at Parkside the answer is a resounding "no.• Or. Howard Cohen is the new Vice Chancellor of Academic Affairs fo, tl•i univcnity. He wUI be a visably active presence throughout the Khoo l tern,. Goben described his position as, "sort of like a chief academic quality assurance person m the university. So, all faculty appomtment come through the office of academir affairs \~ have :o assure the quality of the faculty. Likewise, all curriculum change ... will come through the office of academic affairs. The quality of the curriculum and the quality of the faculty are really the twin main focus of the office.• TI1;u focu.s is then monitored and sJpported.
